OT: American McGee update

Post by Eraser »

New American McGee game announced: Bad Day L.A.
Why do new American McGee games get announced every 3 months but never does one get released?
Check the screenshots though, it looks hilarious in that morbid McGee way :D

Spookily, I just finished Alice. Yeah, it's not really much of a game, but the art direction makes it all worthwhile. The "hell" levels in Doom3 were such a ripoff of Alice it's not even funny.

Heh.
From an artists point of view Alice is a masterpiece. From artwork to the music (done by Chris Vrenna), it's all brilliant. McGee's Wonderland is such a vibrant and living world, the atmosphere is fantastic.

Alice's gameplay isn't exactly revolutionary and it has it's fair share of annoyances, but overall it's quite well done. The entire experience is one no one should miss out on.
