So I`m working on my CTF for the Maverick comp, and this time around I`m trying to make it the "proper" way by starting with a rough alpha and then moving on to details.
Problem is, in a CTF map, when you make an alpha with both bases, when you realize you have to go into detailing, you`ll have to do BOTH sides and make them look exactly the same. I suppose I could cut out one half of the map and then work on detailing on one side, then copy it again, but it sounds tedious and I`m not sure if it`s the best idea. What do you do for CTF alphas? I only have 10 weeks btw, so any answers are greatly appreciated.

Re: Creating alphas for CTF maps
Work on one side of the map, copy it, rotate/mirror it and adjust for making other side (swap blue/red textures with "replace" function). You can also find somewhere here on forum small program which helps to make ctf maps - it do exactly what I wrote - copy one side of it and adjusts it.

Ahh, thanks for your response. I found a program called MiriX, and I`ll mess around with it a bit, see if I can get working.
