no spiders were hurt in that thing. Tarantulas molt, which means they shed a load of stuff and leave behind a very convincing copy of themselves

Yeah that's possible actually. I'd like to think it was a real one though. If it is just the old skin though then I wonder how he got it to stick to the blade...

first three with a live spider, once he started blending he just replaced the live one with the skin
