Good CD Organizers?

What do you guys use to organize all your cd's? I need something to make my cd collection a little easier to dig through.
Right now I just have a couple of cases that I bought blanks in, and labeled them with tape so I know what's in them. It looks like shit, but it's the only way I've been able to keep all my cd's in one place:

The problem is anytime I want a cd, I have to open it up and dig through every one until I find what I'm looking for.

Surely there's got to be a better way to organize a couple hundred cd's and get them in a place where they're easy to sort through and find what you need.

What kind of cases do you guys use? Any recommendations?

CD Wallets:

Have several with hundreds of perfectly above board cds in. Much easier to find.

And their padded and easy to transport.

Yea I guess cd wallets would work. They just seem so bulky.

CaseLogic makes the best CD/DVD organizers, in my opinion. they make them anywhere from ~12 disc to ~300 disc capacity.

why do you have numbers by each disc, Phoenix? do you have a spreadsheet or database somewhere that catalogs each and every disc?

I use a program called Where Is It. You can assign categories, disk locations, etc.

The numbered ones are of old software collections; i did at one point have a list of which numbered disk contains what, yea.

CDs are stored as integral parts of the delicate and complicated stratification system i use to organise my office.

Thanks, that sounds pretty useful. Couple that with some sort of slotted, labeled storage box and it could be a good solution.
