just to let you all know when i awoke the next morning he was banging on the side of the case with the expression

"let me ou ya bastard ive been stuck in this shithole all night"

so i took him out the back garden placed the case and container on the ground, stood a safe distance away and knocked it over with a mop handle

so he's safe n sound
