Some of the best stuff on TV, full stop. Dying for season 3 to start. Have you seen Justified? It looks to be pretty awesome, FX have really made some great series in that last few years.
No, never heard of it until now. Did a quick IMDB ckeck and it is now on my list of must see shows.

Tnx.
Echo this, I've seen adverts for the show but I'll check it out now.

Which is a shame because Moffat wrote some of the best Who episodes with Tennant, hes just useless at doing a full season.
What are you talking about? the first two episodes were amazing, the most recent one with the weeping angels is a bit poor, but i think it'll improve in the second half. Matt Smith isn't as good as Tennant at the moment but Tennant started to take the role far too seriously and in contrast I quite like Matt's take on a more youthful Doctor, also give the lad chance - he's only just getting started. Not to mention that Amy Pond is extremely fiiiiiiiiiine.

I think Moffat will be saving himself for the last few episodes to build up to a good season finale.
I was a fan of Piper, teeth included. Even Martha and Donna were better than Amy "oops I just saved the day silly me" Pond. However Miss Pond is as hot as tits so nm there.

I keep trying to give Smith a chance and to be fair its likely Moffats scripts just not "doing it" for me as yet, but I was a die hard Tennet fan. Some of his episodes were amazing TV. Oddly though some of my faves (Like the one where we first meet River) were written by Moffat... So I really dont get it :s

Sadly no... but perhaps it's the source of some inspiration for the film - there's some similarities in the music and it's all shot in a crummy apartment complex. And with some imagination one of the characters is a bit Zoey-ish perhaps, and another is a bit like Bill. But no specials or "pills here!" or anything like that.

gay. I'll probably give it a miss in that case. A l4d film with specials would fucking ROAWK.

Nightmare on Elm St 7/10

Haley' Kreuger brings a darker, more sadistic twist to the story with less cheesy dialogue and more focus on atmospheric dreamscapes. The sets are great and the effects are, for the most part, well done.

Avatar - halfway thru so no score. looks gorgeous, but it's disappointing that so much creative effort (not to mention $$$) were spent on such a banal story and wooden characters

then again, it got plenty of arses on seats, and that's really the whole point of moviemaking amirite? :disgust:

Ironman 2 = 6/10 - Tedious and nowhere near as interesting or entertaining as the first. Scarlett Johansson was fucking hot.

Fantastic Mr. Fox = 9/10

Quirky and mad. Retro stop motion was fun. Solid voice acting. Brilliant all around

Totally agreed. Also, I don't know why they keep doing the "fall from grace" bit in super hero movies. It was lame in Spiderman 3 and still lame in Ironman 2.

Red Light Go - 7/10

Documentary on bike messenger culture and alley cat races in New York. I knocked a bunch of points for the chaotic nature in which the film was presented, but added a bunch of points back for the awesomeness of the subject and participants.

Really loved it, though not as good as the first in story...but the first didn't have Scarlette in a Unitard!

Avatar: 4/10. Great visuals but no real characters or story. 10 yrs in the making...and apparently the script was finished on day 5. I blame George Lucas for popularizing this approach to filmmaking...often referred to as 'visual storytelling' (i.e., no storytelling)...which Cameron has omgz perfected with Avatar. You fat fuck. I also blame Mark Rein of Epic.
