There is no meaning. There is no reason for the universe, the stars, the planets, molecules, objects, or life (aside from the physical properties which say they must be so). That being said, the meaning I give my own life (or rather, my purpose), is to leave some sort of positive impact on our future and enjoy the time I've got. Sadly, it is looking like the only form that impact may take is having children who will hopefully achieve greater success.
