so long as your bring them and teach them to respect with a level of discipline then theyll be fine, if you pile down to many rules and start giving them time tables then when they start mingling with society they will have probs fitting in

Structure is good it also helps the parents, My wife and I visit friends every thursday their kids are ages 2 and 4. When it's time for bed 7:00pm they race upstirs we get them changed and they pick out books for us to read, after that the go to sleep. No whining crying or complaining, bedtime is a happy time for them
Our other friends who have no structure in raising their kids. They refuse to go to bed, come out of their rooms about 15 times crying and being a general pain in the ass.

the one with kids not going to sleep n shit sounds like there just let to roam wild, what im saying you need a balance but one of the most important things a kid should be taught imho is respect

what i was saying was 'to many rules' of course they need some just dont be a hitler with them

True, there is such a thing as going to far, but there is a huge difference between the quality of life for the kids in the 2 families I mentioned. Structure (within reason) could make a difference in the way a kid deals with society.
The parents are less stressed, so instead of yelling all the time because their kids are insane, they sit down and get them the "time out" but before that they actually explain what the kid did wrong.
The other parents are so stressed they loose their shit and just yell at the kids. The two kids mimic that and loose their temper with each other, and the cycle will go on from there.
