I need something to tie me over until Dexter returns in September. Any suggestions?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - don't knock it, it's actually a very good show
Firefly - It only went for about a dozen episodes, but it's an awesome show worth watching multiple times
Farscape - quite possibly the best show ever made
Stargate: SG-1 - light-hearted and lots of action

Fringe is pretty good. Dollhouse was watchable but S2 just finished though i'm sure you can backtrack it. If you really really REALLY have trouble filling the hours you could watch 24 Day 8 :olo: 24 has jumped every shark in town, but that special blend of wooden characters, stupid dialogue, talking down to the audience (this i get - it *is* Fox after all), torture and the rather old fashioned assumption built into the whole thing that america still rules the world is an irresistable combination :tard:

buffy might be a little dated now (though the writing still holds up if you skip a few of the filler episodes), firefly is great and the dvd set can probably be found for cheap.
never saw SG-1, but friends watched it religiously.

Oh, Buffy's definitely dated; and it particularly shows in the special effects. But it doesn't matter since the writing is so compelling. Joss Whedon knows his shit.
