Adobe to buy Macromedia

Yeah, if Apple bought adobe, maybe they could make it so's the Flash plugin for mac browsers didn't utterly suck cock.

i'm thinking that Adobe's acquisition of Macromedia may already help with this. Adobe and Apple seem to be much better bed-fellows than Apple and Macromedia. :shrug:

I read somewhere that MS will introduce a competing portable document format with the same features as pdf with Windows Longhorn, and that this move by Adobe is a way to strengthen the position of pdf by integrating it with Flash, making it the "ultimate" online media format.
