uk people: do any of you work in a bank?

Post by sys0p »

I'm looking for coin bags. Thousands and thousands of them. The little plastic ones which hold quids, 50's, 20's etc.. If anyone here works in a bank, do you know if they give them out by the box, or if there's a special place they can be purchased from?

cheers

Finally dumping the old change dump?
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Yeah, they offered me a few over the counter, but when I asked for 5000 he told me they only have that many in the whole bank.. I wish I knew the actual name for them so I could buy them, somebody has to make them

they're called coin wrappers and you should be able to buy them at an office supply store

i'd love to hear why you need thousands of them but I'm guessing you can't tell the story

think you'll need to find a retail supply place or a cash and carry if you want a shitload of them - or if you're near a city or large town then go into the main bank or post office and tell them you need the bags for sorting the money from some charitable event.

they'll have tons of them in big post offices, it just means hassling someone to get up off of their big fat arse and go and get them.
