(cube doesnt offer digital. doesnt even offer pro logic2 out of the box, has to be forceprogrammed in by the devs)MaCaBr3 wrote:Also Dolby Pro Logic II? Most games have Dolby Digital nowadays.

Doubt it.Mat Linnett wrote:Got the UK manual here, and not a mention of PS2 anywhere. Did they release a regional Dutchee version as well?
Mistakes happen. Some worse than others. Ubisoft claimed on the box that Beyond Good & Evil supported English in-game while there's only Dutch and French to choose from. Wankers.
I guess in RE4's case someone just copy-pasted some generic text about sound and forgot to change PS2 to GameCube. Rather dumb mistake but it happends.

difference though - BG&E was english on every other platform but the cube. also, for a game that says "Only for GameCube", its a rather fucking big mistakeEraser wrote:Doubt it.Mat Linnett wrote:Got the UK manual here, and not a mention of PS2 anywhere. no they don't. hardly any games (actually none that i know of console-wise) do Dolby Digital in real-time during gameplay. cut scenes however are a different story.MaCaBr3 wrote:Also Dolby Pro Logic II? Most games have Dolby Digital nowadays.
Dolby Prologic II is a godsend to developers because of the comparitively less processing power it takes to implement.
9 out of 10 Xbox games have ingame Digital, sir.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:no they don't. hardly any games (actually none that i know of console-wise) do Dolby Digital in real-time during gameplay. cut scenes however are a different story.MaCaBr3 wrote:Also Dolby Pro Logic II?
