Best Sandwich Evar

Post by Uaintseenme »

I experimented once with a bunch of crap out of my fridge and came up with this, which is actually damn tasty:

2 slices bread (whatever you like)
1 nice thick coating of mayo
A dash of pepper
A mound of crushed red pepper
2 slices cheese
2 slices turkey/ham/whatever
4 or 5 chips (preferably the kind you dip in salsa due to salt factor)
1 mouth for eating

It's great! Try it. I have one every morning before I goto bed.

I experimented with a similar sandwich minus the cheese, plus salad etc. And yes, it was damn tasty :D

Show some style and don't keep the most important part a secret:
what kind of cheese?

World's greatest sarnies are peanut butter and pickle, and the triple decker chili chutney egg and bacon.

Best toastie ever is cheddar, ham, tomato concentrate and oregano (4 minute pizza!)

Hamburger (or any other fried snack) + fries + sauce + sandwich (not the soft sandwich like you yanks know it, but a crispy baguette).

Well known snack in Brussels, commonely known as "Mitraillette" wich means machinegun.

Are you trying to say you are somehow affiliated with the submen and subwomen who try to fool americans into not being fat lards?

I liked Subway. Their whole Swedish branch went belly up a couple of years ago though, so there is no more Subway here.

True, but I was under the impression the 'guy got skinny from subs guy' commercials were directed towards Amercians, because we/they are fat.

We don't have those adverts here. We just get the 'subway; fresh handmade sandwiches' or something.

Theirs a subway right next to a burger king in town here; I've noticed burger king have loads of pictures of sandwiches on their windows, they must be worried.

:icon19:

That would make sense, I guess other countries don't engorge themselves with hamburgers and fries for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

sounds like the "sandwich of extreme nutritional value" that i periodically make when i'm too drunk to be trusted with cooking appliances of sharp objects.

Boring! :p

I like piling my sammich up with havarti, butterkase, or edam. Much more intersting.

Oh...and subway's sandwiches are far from great. Ok, perhaps, but not great.

Meh I used to eat stuff like that. Nowaday's my favorite sandwich is probably a Pork Chop sandwich.

You gotta buy the right bread but when you find a good type of bread you cook up some boneless pork chops with whatever sauce you like, slap it between two slices of toasted bread, mayo, butter, salt/pepper and some veggies if you like em and it tastes great :)
