best wireless keyboard?
I've always stuck with logitech when it comes to keyboards but now i really wouldn't mind getting a wireless one. I would love a light up one but i doubt thats gonna help when i want to sit on my bed, heh.

Everything wireless is crap for gaming.... and what bothers me the most is that logitec makes a laser mouse with pinpoint accuracy and make it cordless  what were they thinking!?

Guess i only tried shitty mouses/keyboards from logitec then.. there is always an delay if you compare it to one with cord, you might not notice it at first.. but once the reciver/batteries starts to fade your shit out of luck in those fast games.o'dium wrote:Do you honestly think that? You mean, some kind of delay? I cant sense any delay on my mx700, its perfect

i had one of the logitech bluetooth wireless keyboard/mouse combos for a while. it was all right, i guess. i hate the fact that, in order to conserve battery power, there are no lights for caps lock, scroll lock, num lock.
i took it back and now use an Apple Pro keyboard (wired) along with a Logitech MX1000 Laser. i don't experience any of those delays that you're speaking of while gaming.

the only trouble i have while gaming is inherent to my graphics card / display combination. 6800gt with a 23" cinema display. i can't run any games at 16:10 without doing 1920x1200 resolution. that really blows if the games i'm playing are very intense. i get ~30 fps with counter-strike: source like this.

I have the Cordless MX700 Duo since Xmas. I have to charge the mouse every few days or so on the base station, but with the keyboard, I'm still on the original alkaline batteries and still going strong.
I'm quite impressed with the keyboard and its battery life.

Truth, I got a Logitch Cordless Freedom keyboard/mouse combo and I couldn't stand it for gaming. I gave it to my mom now, so I'm using my old white corded keyboard and an mx500 \o/reefsurfer wrote:NONE.o'dium wrote: best wireless keyboard?

You can't notice a delay, I didn't even notice any with my shitty cordless Mouseman Optical! The biggest sign that your mouse sucks is your score and you accuracy. I couldn't hit rails with the optical mouse, but when I got my mx500 I started hitting with a 50%+ accuracy. If your accuracy sucks, consider trying a good mouse and see if it improves it.sirstrongbad wrote:i had one of the logitech bluetooth wireless keyboard/mouse combos for a while. it was all right, i guess. i hate the fact that, in order to conserve battery power, there are no lights for caps lock, scroll lock, num lock.

i really donty see the point in cordless mice and keyboard.
what are you gonna do, sit 20 feet away from yer screen?
its not like the cables take up enormous amounts of desktopspace or anything.
also you dont need any batteries
