Beyond Good and evil Pc

Post by o'dium »

Wow, what a fantastic game. This game plays like a dream, looks stunning. Has its own style going on, loving it. The game play is very cool indeed, love these collect everything you can" games.

however, I have a problem, it may or may not be a problem anyways, dunno...

Every screenshot i see shows the water looking reflective, it even has an option for it in the setup. But, even though everything is on max, the water just will not reflect. Does anybody know of any problems with them? Has anybody even played it?

I doubt its my pc, but it could be my gpu wasn;t built for this i suppose.

Either way, the game fantastic so far, love the humour and the way it plays. Just thinking about that water.. hmm...

Might be a bug in the game o'dium.
When I ran it on my PC I encountered numerous bugs. Sounds would not play or sound very bad, objects in the screen would flicker, the sky wouldn't be drawn correctly. Stuff like that.

It is a very nice game though. Very rich and colorful world to play in.

xbox version has reflective water... you might assume that the pc version has it too

tried updating? although you should only update when you really really have to, since it may cause a gamebreaking bug :(

Trust me, its not my pc.

Latest drivrs, clean install.

specs are:

GF 6800 GT 256meg DDR
3200 AMD 64bit CPU
1024 gig DDR Ram

So, I very much doubt its because my pc is "shit".

However, I also believe its probably because my pc wasn't built when this game was out. The 6800's, although a fantastic card, does shit a brick with a couple of things in some games. Thats the price you pay i guess for playing the latest and greatest stuff.

Anyways, picked up BG&E with Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, Conflict Desert Storm 2 and Champ Manager 4 for £7.48 at work, so its not all too shabby. Well, apart from the footie game.

But this game is fantastic, with or without bugs. Its justo ne of those games ill sit there and play for hours...

Shame because i just "acquired" Cold Fear for PC and THATS very good, although a little hard to control with keyboard :p
