@MKJ:
Nah, L4D always had dedicated servers, you just couldn't choose which server you wanted to play on, and were randomly assigned one.
They patched in the ability to open the server browser, which players had found they could do themselves by altering config settings.
L4D defaults ot peer-to-peer if it can't find a server for your group, but it does ask you if you want to accept this or continue searching for a dedicated server.

Haven't seen you in zombie-apocalypse-land in a bit btw Mat... got bored with the game? Will L4D2 cure it?

I've just got a lot of other games to play Ryoki. I'm sure I'll play L4D2 when it comes out, but there's so many other cracking titles out at the moment, it's hard to dedicate myself to any one game.

that reminds me, must give trine some more time.

Yeah, Trine's a great little game. Real charm, and a nifty play mechanic. I hardly ever used the Knight though.
Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
too bad they destroyed the mp, but at least it's worth a download seeing that there's a sp level where u get to play as a terrorist and kill civilians in mass at an airport...good times...

The premise behind it is legit though...infiltrate a gang and carry out their work...

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
The game will easily be the biggest selling game of 09 anyway, so I doubt a little controversy will have that much effect on it.
Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
then you don't know much about marketing mate.
believe me, marketing fuckers will grab at anything they can to sell product.
