Quake

I installed Quake 1 on my friend's computer, everything works fine but everytime he joins a game all the other player models are one solid color. I can't figure out why, it's like this in every server. I know barely anyone plays Q1 anymore, but maybe one of you knows the answer to this problem.

is he using the eQuake/FuhQuake package?

If so, I think it's a setting.

have you installed fuhquake (improves just about everything) yet?

I figured it out, for some reason he was missing some files from his Quakeworld installation. Don't know why that would affect it, but it's fixed.
