searchin skybox

Hi, Pals! <3

Im searchin for a certain skybox ...
that looks like a grid ...as in TRON!-
i remember ive seen it in an older dm1-version.

Do u know what i mean
and where i can find it? ;)

I don't know exactly what you mean, but the skybox you're looking for can probably be found in speaker's "skybox collection" available at lvlworld.com.
But right at the moment lvlworld seems to have some issues, you can't navigate anywhere else beside the mainpage. Hope that this problem will be sorted out soon.

no, its not in there (u mean the big pack, right: q3sky.zip?)!

maybe it was made with the skybox-entity ...
but i cant use that for my new map!-
need a skybox.

It is actually in there - tig is currently working on vl's code base - search function doesnt work.

The name is Quake 3 skybox collection - posted by various. (I believe)

There was a Tron map. Maybe it's in there.

Did you check Environment Maps @ wadfather?

Why not just delete the .jpeg the skybox shader looks for and go with the "missing texture" look? It's a grid, and a cool one at that.

the textures are squares ...
to make them look like a globe,
i would need to make the skybox manually.-

There was one that came with Q3:TA, don't think it was ever used in the game, but is in the files.

i made it with the skybox-entity 1st,
then i added a 2nd sky and moved the skybox-box to another place,
then i added a 3rd sky, and i thought the sky was still workin,
but it wasnt ...
then i reduced all the skies ...was experimentin ...
now i got 1 sky only and moved the skybox-box back again ...
but the sky aint workin anymore!? :/
