lols, I cant do that yet, when I try, the words im saying end up in the word document as well - happened last week while typing an email out.
self taught touch typer tho, started by watching the keyboard all the time, then gradually decreased the amount of time watching the keyboard. Typing forms a majority of what I do tho, if i did not do so much writing it would be harder to lear and keep going

I discovered that I could touch type by accident a couple of years ago. I had never really thought about it, I certainly haven't practiced on it, but apparently I did it all the time.
Yea I taught myself how to type. A couple letters I don't do the way you're supposed to, but for the most part I do it by the book.
I had a computer class in 7th grade that taught us how to type, but I didn't ever learn it. A few years ago, I just took what I remembered from the class and started making myself type without looking.
And I practically hammer the keys when I type. You can hear it in another room.
I can sort of touch type, I've got a rough idea of where the keys are, but if I think too much about it I tend to get lost, I'll have a look at learning it properly one day. I just touch typed this actually.
I use most of my fingers, but not all. No real need to look at the keyboard either, but i fucking love slamming the keys. Makes me feel like i'm doing something useful.
