Finally, using genetics to map our geographic origins

I wondered when the day would come when they had the resources to process such vast amounts of data that they could do this.

I'm so very curious how far down the genetic tree science can take us.

Old stuff - we've been doing that kind of research for some time. Check out the December 2004 of Discover magazine. Talks all about using the Y chromosome as a means to map human migrations across the globe. The genetic markers being used on the Y chromosome agree well with other info. Cool stuff.
