archive.org

Anyone else been travelling down memory lane on this place via archive.org? Just did a quick stroll through the LEM forums over the years. Brought a tear to my eye it did. :owned:
The amount of activity in the screenshots thread was just simply amazing. I remember just spamming refresh every time I had added a new batch of pictures and replying to peoples comments, usually didn't take longer then a few minutes to get comments. :)
I was suprised to find that alot of the screenshots still work. Even saw some of my own work from back then. Pretty rubbish stuff indeed. But it reminded me on a few guys that posted amazing stuff here, particulary Neotic, Todtsteltzer, wvw, Scrotch, the5horsemen, haste, skore, quaker-x, aeon, truthful liar (Jedi Knight hero!) stormshadow and lots more. Cant remember all of them but this place had (and still do) a serious amount of talented people. So many mappers I havent seen for ages.

Reading my own posts is kinda fun too. I was 15 when I registered here. Posted alot of stupid shit back then. Still do though, perhaps abit less these days. ;)

What about you? Anyone you remember and miss from those days? Maybe when/if some tools for QL arrive, this place will spark up abit and remind us of the good old days.
I'm getting old enough to miss the past. :tear:

Yeah, the good ol' days. I liked all the technical discussions, I learned so much from those, picking the brain of those who were more knowledgeable than me, like ydnar, Digibob, SPoG, etc.
