Because our network admins think that having access to gamespy/ign/gamespot/every other site dealing with video games, or having flash games on it will destroy their precious network.

You are under a TOS most times when using another businesses network. Bypassing their security is a good way to lose network priveleges altogether. If they don't want you using a site, live with it or speak to someone who can do something about it.

if you're friends with someone in the IT Department who has administrative priveleges, you can possibly persuade them to provide a user exception for you. i know with Microsoft ISA Server 2004 that this is an easy procedure. never worked with SonicWall before.
