.PAV video format

Post by rep »

I'm posting this here so it'll reach a wider audience than T&T, because this question is regarding a very rare file format, .PAV

I've googled for it and found nothing. Does anyone know of the format or a player that can handle it?

If not, then to make your journey to this thread worthwhile, here's a picture of a juicy donkey butt.

Another egotistical ass who thinks his T&T topic is more important than the forum

Thanks for the donkey.

It's a really swank little program..
Tells you the video, or audio codec used in a given media file. :icon14:

You don't seem to understand.

PAV is not MPEG or AVI or anything similar. It needs a special player (which I can't find) to play.

I've got the PAV files off the CD, now I just need to find out how to view them.

what kind of cd is it?
sometimes, enhanced CDs or vcds use their own encoding to play the media on them.
or cant you view the files at all, not even with the app they were meant to be shown?

Packet Video Audio (PVA, PSV, PSA, PAV)

It's streaming packet-based MPEG-2.

Really? Can you please link me to it? I'm having a brainfart right now and I'm trying to get ready for my trek.

About 2/3rds of the way down on the downloads page. Contains the main jar file of the compiled classes.

You still need the JRE to run it, just not the entire JDK to compile it.
