Rockford OmniFi system?

Post by Giraffe }{unter »

Anyone have one?

Basically a car system, with a 20 gig hard drive, which synchronizes wirelessly at night or anytime you choose, with my home computer. It transfers music that I want, from the house to the car, while I sleep so it will always have new music every day, also comes with a home unit and wireless module and remote as well

Sounds awesome, but primarily designed to fuel one's ego.

LOL, I'm looking for a system that uses the Stock radio, (and an auxiliary input device) to play mp3s. Saves me from carrying a few mp3 or other CDs around and changing the stock head unit. It's not too pricey (about the cost of an inexpensive MP3 CD receiver)

There is no ego fuel in a good bargain :D

It actually sounds pretty cool, my bad man. I've got no reason to hassle you :)

Sadly, no car to place it in. Mebbe I could mount it on my BIKE.

Actually no hard feeling man, it gave me a great idea, once I hook it up I'll brag about it :icon30:

But mostly to make you feel better about your ego post.... mostly :icon30:

Sounds cool. It'd be cooler if it was downloading to a 350Z tho.

Just build your own; much cheaper. I'm considering fitting a small screen into my car (like 8") and running it off either my laptop or some old cheap system; which could show my GPS routes and information and also be a way to change music etc.

If your car has an ECU you can also get programs to graph out information of you car, and show digital rev and speed meters etc.

That's the only reason I nailed it.

That's one of my plans for the future, I have 2 laptops bot in perfect working order, the company I work for designs and installs touchscreen control systems, so I have touchscreens of all different sizes at my disposal, I just lack the time and Drive to do it. :icon31:

So your gonna hook me up with a free 8" or bigger touch screen right?
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.
