^^fanboi fagg0t cocksuckers^^

Either one of you can go right ahead and admit you have no fucking clue what's going on with the show.

Oh wait...you'll say "that's the appeal"....after 5 years of having the writers lie to you. :olo:

This show jumped the shark a long time ago.

Besides...one of you has already lost cred by admitting you liked the movie "Sunshine"....I rest my case. :p

Sunshine was a great film, you tard. It had a silly ending granted, but it was awesome. ALthough I admit 90% of my love for it came from the awesome trailer with the awesome double ended dildo music.

I'm 100% clear on what's going on with the show. I have no idea what's going to happen in the end. I understand how, being a giant inter-nerd, you need to rock the "Well this happened and this happened so next this is going to happen. My nerd logic knows know bounds!" but I couldn't really care less. It's an hour of television - just sit down and enjoy it. Nobody cares if you can't take the role of alpha-internet whilst watching it.

Also, you clearly watch the show so stop being such a hypocrit.

That reminds me, speaking of nerding out....

I haven't watched the latest Sarah Connor yet. I'm really into that atm, its quite good. Sure its no T2 on the small screen but it has its gold moments.

That and Lena Headey is hot...

I sort of watch it too, it's pretty decent but imo it's got too few terminations and too much drama.

But the girl plays a terminator pretty well i think, and the storyline is getting more interesting, what with the Austrasian chick and all.

the girl playing the terminator has no fucking personality...you might say the character calls for that... which is fine, but as an actress I bet trying to pull of a human role she would suck major balls. Even in FireFly she got away with being such a monotone because she was suppose to be some kind of a genius freak.
Honestly wtf is up with her?

So that was cool - someone was correct and it was Ethan. Little Ben is very odd looking though, and he worries me some what. I wonder why he pretends not to know them in the future when he was captured?

Hmm...

Possibly we are seeing the initial instance of the time travel that creates this loop where Ben sees them as a child. In that case, when he met them earlier in the series the loop hadn't occurred yet and the alternate past he knows now didn't exist.

one can argue that he doesnt pretend not to know them at all.
he lets himself get captured, and tells locke theyre coming for him. it was always a mystery why they were coming for him and calling him "one of the good guys". this just as well might answer that.

or. not.

But that would mean constant paradoxs as everything you did in the past would mess with something in the future. So the reality of the now would constantly change. You would have always known what happened in the past as it has already happened to you back then etching it into your memory forever.

Perhaps it is a mixture of time travel and alternate reality?

i think its safe to assume whatever timetravel thing they come up with, it will always cause some grandfather paradox somewhere.

Sayid and Young Ben are going to have a rapport. Sayid is going to die in the next episode and that is what will spur Young Ben to side with the Others and initiate the purge later in life.

hypocrite

Anyways yes you're right, I do watch the show and I do enjoy it, but I'm also honest enough to call a spade a spade. I also feel that Heroes began sucking shit as did Weeds. I continue watching all of them in the hopes that they can turn them around and be worth watching again, only to be disappointed week after week. And I don't care about linearity or closure of sub-plots. My main problem is that I don't like feeling that the writers think we're fucking idiots. To say that the show seems to be reaching for ideas reinforces the comment made by one of the show's producers during season two: that they have a bunch of peripheral characters that they can use during those times of "idea block" to keep the series going. That approach tells me exactly what I said earlier...they're throwing ideas at a wall and seeing what sticks. Things are beginning to take shape but I feel the punchline will be fucking lame when it arrives.

BSG never had that problem.

A friend of mine who's also a fan of Lost made a hilarious comment last year: if Vic Mackey from "The Shield" were a character on the show he'd beat people with a phone book until he got some answers.

Cool down boy...I haven't grabbed the remote from you and changed the channel.

well yea, one of the lost pet peeves is that people never, EVEr ask followup questions. people seem to be content with the most evasive answers.
