So those raeleans

Post by Guest »

Or however they're little nutjob cult is spelled...

However... giving them the benefit of the doubt what if they really did? Worst what if they're right? You know me and you know I'm not prone to any type of fantastical story's so as far as I'm concerned everyone that beleives in religion or a higher being is fucking crazy. Alright? These guys however aren't all that nuts. See their story, is actualy more beleivable than any imaginary friend.

See this rael dude used to be a race car driver apparently. After meeting some aliens he was told we are actualy their clones.

Well... the idea that we're clones disturbs me a bit but I thought I'd give it some thought despite the fact I'm pretty sure we're an evolved species. So what if maybe what they meant is perhaps they initiated the spread of amino acids and other life creating materials needed to create life across the galaxy or perhaps even the universe.

Asteroids are a great way of populating something that large when you think about it. Plants that polinate an area work in very similar way's instead of a seed you have an asteroid containing the ingrediants to life being sent out everywhere bascily seeding a galaxy.

So what if they're also right about cloning and being immortal through cloning by being able to download your memories and upload them into a freshly cloned body?

Sounds like a fantastic story... but I'd buy that over christianity any day of the week.

kracus, the idea you are talking about is similar to Panspermia.

It allows for a much broader concept of natural selection, on a galactic scale.

Apart from the fact that asteroids orbit only around the sun... calculate the chance of a rock[1] with a diameter of at most a few kilometers hitting an inhabitable planet, then call back.

[1] Need not be rock, of course.

Sex used to recruit Raelians
Members cruise bars, strip clubs

The Edmonton Sun/October 11, 2003
By Kevin Connor

Former members of the Raelian cult say attractive members of the movement cruise strip clubs and bars looking for lonelyhearts who are offered free sex - and plenty of it - to recruit them into the organization.

"They work the bars and the vulnerable ones are caught," said Steve Hassan, a former Moonie who now helps "deprogram" cult members with the Boston-based organization Freedom of Thought.

"They use free sexuality as inducement and recruiting."

Former Raelian Pete Cooke was recruited into the cult by a dancer in Montreal's Kit Kat strip bar.

"I had been divorced for 16 years. I wasn't a misfit but I had trouble making friends and I was lonely and I got sucked right in," said Cooke, who spent two years with the cult.

The Quebec-based religion, headed by former journalist and race car driver Claude Vorilhon - who is known as Rael - believes humans were cloned by aliens.

Cooke, who has been out of the cult for five years and now lives north of Toronto, believes in UFOs.

"It wouldn't be such a bad place if you'd leave all the sex out. I'd never go back because of the sexual aspect," he said.

So he couldn't take all the sex and had to quit?

Sure any object traveling through space would likely fall into somekind of orbit around any celestial object although not all do as we already know.

It's even possible this could have been done at the time of the big bang and perhaps the aliens aren't actualy from this particular universe but are responsible for it's creation. Or perhaps they aren't.

i'm not certain how any being would be able to accomplish a task like what I'm describing but then again I doubt a caveman would beleive you if you told him one day a man would walk on the moon.

kracus met a raelian chick and he thinks he'll use her for some sex but it turns out he gets sucked in and in 6 months he'll be chief sub-lieutenant of Rael for all of New Brunswick

Since gravity is an inverse square (two times the distance, only a fourth of the pull), a celestial body like Earth wouldn't have nearly as much influence on a far-off object as Sol would.

At the time of the big bang there was only plasma and no matter on account of it being too damn hot (between 10^9 and 10^32 Kelvin).

Yeah that's basicly the same idea. It makes a lot of sense though but I wonder where that chemicals that produce life on earth come from? It's likely it's from a comet or asteroid but where did that comet or asteroid come from?

If you used life on earth as a model it'd be strange but when you think about it possible that life today on earth may be the evolutionary spawn of some strange creature residing in space itself that seeds the universe. Perhaps there's more of them too and perhaps it's not a creature but a natural occurance like an exploding star or perhaps it might even be connected to a black hole since there's a lot about the phenomenon we don't understand and it seems there's one in the center of every galaxy making it key to life on any planet. Perhaps it has a dual purpose in not only the formation of galaxy's but in seeding it as well somehow.

But, the fact is if this were indeed true and we pretty much know from current data that's the likely scenario on how life started on earth and given the time the universe has been here it's extremely likely there is life elsewhere in the universe but more importantly intelligent life.
