mixed feelings about Far Cry 2....
the AI is horrible. The rendering engine is awesome though, the world looks fuckin amazing. I like the story and the way it's non-linear, but it sometimes is frustrating to have to drive maps for like 15 minutes and be fuck lost.
I don't know...it performs better than crysis, but that's just because the texture/veg/object detail popup is horrible.
When I hack it with a config to alleviate this, it actually performs *worse*; pauses when I go to iron sight etc.
On the plus side: no alien bullshit (yet), just nice korean killing goodness.
like the action much more then the 'original', the weapons are great
but it wont be long until you run into the aliens
