Is it normal to have clipping problems with GTKRadiant?

Post by monaster »

Or am I just dumb? The problem is:
Right now, I'm having severe problems adjusting already clipped brushes in a way so that I can clip them even more. Think of a normal brush where there were two sides clipped so you can build a small house which doesn't lie square-angled to a street in front of it.
Something like that for example : The Flatiron Building
"Clipping them even more" means that I wanted to add a roof on the already clipped brush but couldn't set the right angle for it, because the clipping tool doesn't work in the 3d-camera-window and thus only allows to clip in a limited number of angles.Of course, never the angle that I need.
Isn't there another way of clipping brushes in every possible angle there is, or is it that GTKRadiant just hasn't been programmed for such an option?

BOINK!

The Flatiron Building = Awesome! The Gooderham Building here in Toronto is similar and is commonly also referred to as the Flatiron.

:owned: Thanks! I'm off to do some archtitectural stupidities, THANK YOU!

By the way: I didn't know that Gooderham Building, but the similarities are obvious. Considering that the Gooderham Building had been completed even before the Flatiron, the question arises: who's stolen the idea from the other architect? :offended:
