I'm asking dating advice on an internet forum

There is a girl I like who lives 5 minutes away from me and goes to my school. I got her on MSN, but she's online really rarely. I see her only once a week in class. I've found out where she lives by her giving me her street name and I knew that she drove her dad's Volvo, so I found the exact house where she lived. I did a reverse address and confirmed that it was her house (same family name) and got her phone number from there.

Now I need a reason for calling her without her asking where I got her phone number or it will be too weird. Any ideas?

You've got three choices:

1. The viable one that everyone else is suggesting, ask her in class; if you can spend the time driving by her house and getting her phone number, you can spend the time waiting till you see her next.

2. Don't ask her out and regret not taking a chance.

3. Ring her and look all.... creepy. Regret that more than 2.

So yeah, grow some spuds and ask her in class.
