good maps made of least brushes?

Post by a13n »

Hi, everyone.
Just wondering if there are any great maps out there with fewer brush count, such as 100 or so.
Or was some competition on brush count limitation held in the past, whether it's about q1, q2 or q3?
Any info would be appreciated.

We had a 20-brush map contest some time ago. Some entries worked out pretty well, such as pjw's Crate Efficiency. TBH, I forgot who else had an entry to the contest besides that one.

Wow, pjw3quickie5!
I've never heard of it!
I remember from pjw3quickie1 to pjw3quickie3 though.

As I was thiking, the type of map to cope with this limitation should be a tower.
But pjw3quickie5 is beyond my expectation.
On top of that the brush count is only 20.
Thank you obsidian for info.

I'll post my 20 brush map later. :)

Only a screenshot because noone would want to play it for grappling insta-gib.
Visible brush count is 20, including 4 for skybox.
