Pictures of uncontacted tribesmen

I thought that was pretty interesting. I don't know how reputable dailymail is, but I thought some of you might want to check it out.

but they don't know that, so i doubt that's the reasonThe uncontacted tribes... all have one thing in common - they want to be left alone.
And for good reason. The history of contact, between indigenous tribes and the outside world, has always been an unhappy one.
they probably just don't like the way we smell
Re: Pictures of uncontacted tribesmen
Interesting. But even flying a plane over their village is disturbing them in a way. They probably got all drugged up and sacrificed something or someone after the fly by. We should just leave them alone altogether.

The Daily Mail is not a reputable newspaper. That doesn't mean the article isn't true, though:
If you follow the link at the end of the article, you'll find this:
http://www.survival-international.org/news/3340
So it's not a matter of the Daily Mail's repute so much as Survival International's repute.

That article is retarded. Just because these people haven't had contact with the outside world (something I highly doubt in and of itself) doesn't mean they aren't aware of it.
I guarantee they've seen planes fly overhead before and know exactly what they are - ie: not spirits or a giant bird.

Re: Pictures of uncontacted tribesmen
if they knew "exactly what they were", they certainly wouldn't waste their arrows shooting at metal.
Re: Pictures of uncontacted tribesmen
Ya, I'm gonna go ahead and say they might, MIGHT, have seen a plane before, but they really have no idea what it is...
Re: Pictures of uncontacted tribesmen
I doubt they were doing that, if that's in the Daily Mail article (not reading it again to check), it's probably made up, cause it's not in the article I linked, which is apparently where the Daily Mail got their information from.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:if they knew "exactly what they were", they certainly wouldn't waste their arrows shooting at metal.
Same goes for not knowing what a plane is. Even so, there's no reason to think that they would know what a plane is.

Since when has that stopped us? I say we fuck with them. The uncontacted tribes... all have one thing in common - they want to be left alone.
