Really nice picts, Dom. Flower print hom0.
Anyways I've read the article Sat posted and a few others reviews and I'll prolly get a decent DSLR in the next few months. what also helped convince me were the nice "natural" picts you guys posted.

That's great man. You can take great pictures with a PS, but if you want to take it a step further getting a SLR is the sound thing to do.
Beach shot with a 24mm f/2.8 manual focus lens. Quite tricky to clean all the sand off your cam.

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
28mm F2.8 AIS? That thing is a solid performer.
Found one for $120 many many years ago.

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
I would never buy a traditional film camera either, it turns out that you have to actually develop the prints properly instead of just having them fall out of your camera perfectly. How pathetic.GONNAFISTYA wrote:Hey...no need to get pissy.saturn wrote:I'm not really in the mood to explain this to you since you don't really understand it.
but read this before you go on about photoshop: http://digital-photography-school.com/b ... al-camera/
All I'm saying is that I've seriously considered buying a really good camera based on the picts you guys have posted and it's more than a disappointment to know that your cameras didn't give you those picts...you had to tweak them. So...I'm asking why I should bother spending the money when I can spend it on a ski trip instead.

It's bizarely weird to have perfect sky, light and clouds condition + a cargo freighter broken in 2 pieces in a picture
A cargo freighter carshed during take off and slided 300 meters over the runway. This happend last sunday maybe 1 km from where I was working. The crew only suffered minor injuries.

Those must be your jihad pants.
Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Here are a few I took with my shitty little canon of the river (was flowing big this year due to the big snowpack).

Here are some ducks and a beaver dam (and a tree a beaver gave a good working over)

Photos from Japan, more of what I made rather than the place, we've all seen pictures of japan. They're not processed, because I neither know how, nor care. They're snaps.
