Any lacrosse fans in the hizzy?
This weekend was the last of the NCAA Division I quarterfinals, I caught the last two games. Duke fucking DESTROYED Ohio State 21-12, ouch. The Syracuse-Notre Dame game was much closer with ND coming from a four goal deficit to take the lead with 5 or 6 straight goals in the third quarter. Syracuse ended up pulling it out with an 11 - 9 win, but it was a close one.
I saw the most amazing defensive play, during a botched clear a Syracuse attackman was knocked down while carrying the ball, takes a shot from the ground on an empty net, only to have a Notre Dame defenseman rob him of the goal by making a sweet diving save to block the shot. Great game.
The semifinals are next Saturday, Virginia vs. Syracuse at noon on ESPN2HD, followed by Duke vs. Johns Hopkins. Championship game's on Memorial Day.

It's fun to play and watch. I've seen a couple Toronto Rock (NLL) games.

i only caught the Duke game but i missed the syracuse highlights. the one cool thing about living in NY is that people are actually into lacrosse. every high school has mens and women's lacrosse around here. i'll be checking out the semi's next weekend fo sho.
p.s. used to go to the Arizona Sting games.

"Polo is my life" is a book that is yet to be published by the late Hunter Thompson... it's also the first line in the short story, and some really incredibly hilarious shit follows - the kind of stuff that makes you incapable of movement with laughter - but i can't seem to find it on the interwebs
Instead, i give you this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFywoZszSrA which has nothing at all to do with the topic subject, but is a laugh anyway.

That was a badass game. How about Rabil? Six fucking goals! GG to both teams.
