It was either that or photograph him in a grocery store wearing a bath robe, crappy white v-neck tshirt, birkenstocks and boxers while drinking out of a carton of half & half :smirk:

Oh and sunglasses...

Was doing the night shift at the Intensive Care. Every patient was in stable condition so I killed time with a few night shots and also caught the setting sun

Base of a building Super cell as it raced away to do damage about 2 hours latter in the north. It did produce a tornado.

Oh...

EDIT: yeah, sort of... i meant the way the background fades out. When i think hdr i think surrealistic sharp van gogh-esque colours. Generally, i'm not a fan. In any case, i obviously don't know photoshop or photography enough to understand hdr.

Form: nice man, though I wouldn't want to live there with all the tornados.

Ryoki: HDR is a picture made of multiple exposures (from under- to overexposed) to create an image with extended dynamic range. People can go totally wrong by creating weird halos around clouds, creating comic-like saturation, etc.

This one took me 5 exposures and I merged it in Photomatix (HDR program). I tried not to overdo it, but it looks differently then one "normal" exposed photo.

Still don't really understand it :)
Do you set up your camera on a tripod and take several pictures, each with different exposures and then mess about with em in PS or do you simply flip a special HDR switch on your camera?

I like very much to take pictures, but i just don't know enough about it :tear:

You do need to set up a tripod for a few exposures. You shoot the scene 3 to 9 times depending on how much you need. There's no HDR switch dude, hahaha.

You don't need to understand HDR to take pictures. Just buy a cam, shoot and fill the frame with the subject.
