The controls in this game are less responsive than the King Kong game.

You know you don't have to drive with the pedal to the metal, right? I have no problem turning corners or e-braking.
Re: GTA IV

Re: GTA IV
Don't hold the right trigger down all the way. Even if you're not at top speed, you're still gunning it and you'll spin out. And slow down when approaching a corner.
I haven't gotten any timed missions yet, but I assume Rockstar incorporates the new handling and slower-paced driving into the countdown.

Re: GTA IV
damn, has anyone been able to get that body armor across from your first apartment? behind the hotdog vendor on the ledge of the chiropractic billboard? You gotta go up the express way, get on the roof of the building and jump down. but the ledge is so small its almost impossible.

Re: GTA IV
Such a pretty game. Maybe they'll change their mind and release it on PC one day.
Re: GTA IV
has anyone else gone drinking in the game and then had to drive somewhere? holy hard as hell lol
Re: GTA IV
It's even more fun to try and walk somewhere without falling on my ass.
When I first got in a car while drunk a passing cop chased me (talk about a hard getaway). It wasn't a stolen car, so I am wondering if it was because of my intoxication...

Re: GTA IV
Ya, I have a little trouble with taking corners too fast and sliding around, but I'll get used to not hammerin down on it everywhere I go.
And about getting to that armor, isn't there a way to use a ladder? I thought I read something about that in the controls menu.
I took that bitch Michelle to the bar and I got all wasted. Then that cunt made me drive her home. At least I got a piece of ass out of the deal...

Oh and at that meeting I had to go to instead of taking the vacation day that caused this thread to derail, the district did decide on my proposal so although it's not a huge deal it does mean that I've been able to successfully move the district to what I hope will be better science education. My proposal got voted as the unanimous preference by all 5 high schools. Now I need to work on fixing what happens in the middle schools, but that is tougher because the majority of the middle school teachers have no science background. But that's for another day.

Re: GTA IV
Fuck this game rocks. I just spent 2 hours walking around not doing any missions and didnt even see the time go by. I've found 2 flying rats so far. TWO. In crackdown i would of had about 30 orbs by now. TWO.
Glad I have it on 360. On PS3 its 640p, and if you have a 60gig HDD from launch 60gig PS3's the game locks up and freezes lol. Ooops.

I love the way they put Bas Rutten's schtick into that TV show - very reminscent of the infamous bar fight self defense video on the internets.
