They're in a fix because of all the code patents that are running about. I love this media player and wouldnt want to see development on it stop...shame.

ya VLC is great with playing messed up clips that WMP waves the white flag at.

Yeah, it plays practically everything. It's good for when the clunky WMP and QT options dont work out.
