He's responsible for many, many, many shitty movies. He tends to do "video game" movies.
He also called out people who criticized his movies online a few years ago to a "fun" boxing match to duke it out. Except he made it a real boxing match and beat the shit out of them. Lowtax from SA was one of them.

but nerds seem to understand that if the game that they like was licensed out to a better (maybe even cheaper?) director, they would do a better job. and then, the movie would make the nerds happy because it would show a cool version of their game.

Here's why the people signing this thing are idiots. Uwe Boll is not obligated to do anything once there is a million signatures. In fact, what I guarantee he'll do is leverage these one million signatures to do more movie projects under the argument of "these are people who care about the movies I make".
