I got an excel spreadsheet in an email. Basically you just put your name in, and it tells you what your ideal job would be. It's not even funny really, but I wanted to check out the formulas and stuff just so I could see what all jobs he had listed in there and how he was calculating them, but a lot of the cells are hidden, and the workbook is protected.
When I try to unprotect it asks me for a password.
Anybody know the best/fastest way to bust an excel spreadsheet password to see the contents of the cells?

What happens when you open it with notepad?

Hey that's pretty cool. I can see all the text that was in the cells, so I can see all the different listings he's got.
I can't see what cells they're in or the formula he's using to calculate it though.

Couldn't you do a "save as" and choose "Tab Delimited Text" as the file type? That should organize the columns appropriately.
EDIT: hmm... maybe that won't show the calculations, though...

Ha, my time spent struggling with excel is semi-useful!

Crap. Thanks for sending it man, but I don't have WinRar here at work.
Any chance you could put it in a zip and resend it?
