how come everyone says q3 gets over 1000+ servers? i only get about 146 servers (maximum)

Use an external server browser like All Seeing Eye to see all of the servers the game has. The ingame master server is not very reliable anymore.

yeah i just went to the downloads section and downloaded the right things... then i got over 1000 servers... nice..
