The thing is, you aren't voting for who you want to be Prime Minister, this is the fundamental flaw of the voting system.

You are only voting for your local Member of Parliament, and if you live in an area that is heavily biased to one party you are fucked. My area for instance, has always been Labour and it always will be, because it's mainly a Council Estate area. It's just a waste of fucking time voting, thats the brutal truth.

If you were voting for who was in No.10 then I would vote, and it wouldn't be Blair.

What Pauly says is what bothers me too.
I honestly quite like my local recumbant Labour candidate, and he's most likely going to retain his seat. What I don't like is the current Cabinet.

Half the time, MPs don't get a chance to represent their constituencies accurately when a national issue is being debated; more often than not they're forced to toe the party line, resulting in gross misrepresentation.

I'll be voting Lib Dem, even though I suspect it won't make a blind bit of difference.

I'm just completely and utterly fed up with having a slippery lawyer in charge who always leaves back-doors for himself in every finely crafted statement he makes.
The public hear one thing, but Mr. Blair always ensures that he's got his arse covered by inserting enough non-conditionals in a sentence so that he can effectively deny ever having said anything if he is brought to task. It's disgusting.

Wait for the bombs.
An attack a week or so before the election will get Labour kicked out.
Dont take a train or bus in the UK for the next month if I were you.
