I thought the animation in the movie and the fact that they were using real cooking techniques and recipes was interesting but the movie itself seemed kind of boring to me.
it was better than i anticipated. i went in not liking it, so it was a pleasant surprise, but not as good as other pixar films though.

John Rambo -- 7/10 just because it's Rambo.

Seeing a guy get cut in half and his torso flying backwards with arms windmilling, while his legs are still planted firmly on the ground.... I mean how can you complain about that? I can't bring myself to.

Cloverfield - 9.9/10.

Seriously, best film I've seen in a long, long time. Sat in the chair stuck to the screen the entire time, loved it. Don't think I've ever realyly cared for the people on screen as much as I did with this, I just bought into it. It would of gotten a 10, but that last bit where the monster is over hte top of him and eats him was just waaaaaaaaaaay to stuck in there just so they could show the monster off.

Seriously, the film made me glad I bought a HD-DVD addon and PS3, because this is what HiDef was made for.

Also, was the only film I've seen in a while where ever trailer show was something I wanted to see. Spot on.

Are you fucking serious? I saw Cloverfield a few night ago because it seemed like one of those flicks that 'had to been seen in the theaters'... Cloverfield fucking sucked. It was almost as bad as Hostel 2 which is the last movie I saw in theaters.... The plot was a good plot and the special effects were... the same as in all the new movies that are out. If you have to see this garbage, wait till it comes out on DVD, don't waste your money going to the theaters. 2/10

Saw IV: Same as all the other Saws. Plot is drying out.... but the traps and the blood and gore were great. 7/10

100% disagree. Cloverfield is one of them films where you need to see it in the cinema, because the atmosphere just wouldn't be the same at home.

Watching "Last of the Mohicans" on TV. One of the best films ever, and one of the best soundtracks.

RAMBO 8/10 ....There is some SERIOUS carnage in this flick. Its your standard Rambo plot/formula....but they kicked the violence up to insane video game level.  , arms, legs, heads blow off and flying all over the place, people shot in half with bullets, body parts flying everywhere.. The last battle is a fucking slaughter house.

Untraceable 3/10 stupid.
The plot complete rip off of an old episode of "Millennium"...The Torcher Porn was pathetic...They try and market it as a hostel take off...but its not even close.

Saw "I am Legend" at the IMAX by Waterloo on Friday.
Okay film, but the end is shit.
Really butchered the point of the story in order to get a Hollywood ending.
Best part was the first 20 minutes of the new Batman movie beforehand.

Before the main feature, they showed the first 20 minutes of the new Batman movie as it had been shot for IMAX.
Kinda like an extended teaser.
Very cool, and definitely something I'm looking forward to now.

American Psycho 6/10

I tried to like it, i really did, but aside from the amusing scenes where he ponders the wonders of pop culture while ordering whores out of their clothes and preparing himself for extreme violence, i didn't like it much.

I expected more madness, more ugly greed, more eighties randomness... And what was with the the ending? I'm sure that twist worked in the book, but it was excecuted with sloppiness in the movie, leaving me all unsatisfied and frowning.
