Yeah, I was screaming at the TV on more than one occasion. Belichick's been smelling himself for a little too long.
That comment about Brady and Seau needing to be taken down a notch is just plain stupid. Two of the most passionate, honest, humble guys in football and you think they need to be humbled? Are you fucking retarded? Have you paid no attention to the Patriots' team motto? Have you seen no media coverage at all of the team in general? For fuck's sake l0g1c, you must be some kind of mental defective if you think anyone other than Belichick was cocky on that team. Jesus, that's just fucking stupid.

The only time I've ever seen Brady even make what looked like a moderately cocky comment was when he kind of laughed about Plaxico's prediction of them only scoring 17 points...(comment was along the lines of "we're only going to score 17...ok, sure -grinlol -" But even that was mild. Like I said, the only classless and arrogant fuck on that team is Belicheck - and that's why he's like the evil dojo master. Where's Mr.Miyagi when you need him?

Giants pass rush in the playoffs literally manhandled Garcia, Romo, Farve and Brady all in a row.

As a Cowboy fan I hate the fuckin Giants, but damn, I have to admit they had an impressive run!

Brady never really got going, and the defense should have put it away on that last Giants drive. Still, Giants played hard and deserved to win.
Still convinced that the Pats are the greatest team to have played the game though

Actually, I might dispute that a little.
For the last four to five years, the Giants have folded in the latter half of the season.
This year though, they started slow and sloppy and towards the end started the momentum rolling.
I hate to give them credit, but their road record was outstanding.
I really wasn't pulling for anything but "an exciting game" and I think we got that for sure :)

Just fucking wow. The Giants obviously logged onto q3w before the game, read my keys to victory, and fucking delivered. Punch Tom Brady in the mouth and he becomes very human don't he?

can anyone tell me why the fuck NE went for a play on the 4th down instead of kicking a field goal when it was 3-7?

Either belichick thought that the kicker had less a chance of a 49 yarder and wanted to try to get farther down the field to convert/give them worse field position(not true by the play tho, it was a long throw), or he was a cocky bastard who thought what had happened so far was a fluke.

then the giants defense held them to back to back 3 and outs with multiple brady sacks.

pwned.

I have to say, that was the best Super Bowl game I've seen in years. And hats off to the Giants and Eli - they deserved to win it. Even though he seemed to just be launching ducks quite a few times and hoping it came out okay, for the most part they were on, and up to the challenge.

NY's defense is what made it a game though. The pressure they kept on Brady leveled the playing field for them.

Brady's not used to being hurried nearly that much. Eli seems to be scared of scrambling in general, but thanks to his offensive line he hasn't had to worry about that too much.

BTW, the Pats made a statement about why they didn't kick on that play.

And quoting for truth:

The Pats (including all their super bowl years) are certainly the best team of this decade. But is this years team the best EVAR? Certainly not. They aren't even the best team this year.

How come nobody has mentioned PAULA ABDUL'S SONG? I missed it. Did it take you back to 1991?

I don't know...I always leave the room when the halftime show comes on.

It will be interesting to see if the resurfacing of 'spygate' has any legs...especially now that the Pats lost. If Goodell is forced to go before congress and stumbles, and Matt Walsh turns out to be even remotely credible, things could get ugly in a hurry for the Pats.

In regards to "spygate", was it even decided concretely if belichick could claim the 500k fine as cost for operating a NFL team and get it IRS deducted? I remember seeing articles on that when the fine was issued.
