Super Bowl predictions
Re: Super Bowl predictions
Looks like injuries could be a big factor for the giants if plexico can't play.

Re: Super Bowl predictions
I predict that they will play for 5 seconds and stop for 2 minutes to play for another 5 seconds and that it will be boring like every other football game.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
Actually they can't do that because the play clock isn't 2 minutes long.nay0k wrote:I predict that they will play for 5 seconds and stop for 2 minutes to play for another 5 seconds and that it will be boring like every other football game.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
Then they'll stop for however long the play clock is. ok?

Re: Super Bowl predictions
I think the refs need call the game the way the NHL refs do during the playoffs and Stanley Cup. Let 'em play, call the really flagrant shit, but let most of it go. Makes for a much better game.+JuggerNaut+ wrote: i agree. the officiating was questionable at best, and i don't usually bitch about calls, but that game sure seemed tilted. means nothing now, but at the time i could do nothing but shake my head. yeah, let's hope this game is just a good game. i hate thinking about bad officiating during ANY sport. ruins it.

Correct. Not all sports that are nonstop are necessarily enjoyable to watch either. I can think of at least one.nay0k wrote:Then they'll stop for however long the play clock is. ok?

Re: Super Bowl predictions
certainly the crowd will be divided into those who are pleased by the outcome and those who are not. i'm told this happens a lot in competitive team sports
