Blair? The alternatives are worse from what I've heard. I wouldn't know, let's wait for a real limey's opinion.

Blair.
But of course there will be those that will say the election was fixed.
What other possible reason for Bush,Howard (and then Blair) to win elections yet be such unpopular idiots who don't deserve it?
Democracy is such a wonderful thing. I especially like its application when used to pit a Chessmaster vs. the rest of the world (in which the most popular next move is chosen, as voted on by voters online)

dunno about fixed, there's been some stuff in the news about postal vote-rigging, but nothing like the blatant fraudulence in the states.

labour are most likely to win, but they're complacent and that could make it a close thing. their only real defence against the tories is the tories own total crapness, but plenty of folks will still vote tory when the time comes so there's not much chance of a landslide.

it'd be nice to see the lib-dems have a crack at running the show, now that the last couple of decades have proven conclusively that labour and the tories are all useless, self-serving cunts.

ultimately MQ's on the money and it's about damage limitation - if you look at what the parties are likely to do rather than personal political affiliation (if it's possible to have such a thing without laughing at yourself), then labour are still the lesser of two evils - even after doing all manner of evil shit, introducing dodgy laws, invading iraq, lying to us all about it and then refusing to be culpable - they're still not as bad as the tories. the lib dems would be a gamble, and we're not really a nation of gamblers.

If the electorate is incompetant, democracy is more likely to fail.

Blair.
Howard is a desperate man that has more chance of growing a pineapple on his forehead than winning the election. He promised 35 billion a year tax cuts.
Its impossible to that without major pull backs on education and hospitals. Even general development will be slowed right down, increasing unemployment and plunging the UK back to the 80's when it was shit.
OK so Blair has made mistakes butleast he hasn't fucked up the country and is trying his hardest to fix what the torries broke in their 16 year(?) rule. Public transport is getting better, bus wise, but trains are still in the balance.

Overall Blair has done a good job with what he had to start with so he should get a third, and final, term at Number 10.
Where were you when the West was defeated?

I just hope that cunt doesn't decide that winning another term means we've forgiven him for that WMD crap.
