Don't get it. I do believe that with the US version the used a different company for the screen. You get 1 dead pixel no matter what unit you buy. Most if not all problems have been fixed with the US version.

So I recommend you don't buy the Jap crap.

Edit: And the Jap version was worse for dead pixels.
