..which means £60 and 3 points. Last time I had points was many years ago, so my licence is currently clean.
However, I also get the option of taking a speed awareness course instead, which means paying £100 for a 1 day course, some of it in a classroom and some of it in the car. But that way I get no points. You only get offered an awareness course for less than 10% over the speed limit. I was doing 39 in a 30. So I'm gonna go for the course.
No points - Glee!
£100 - cunts

i went through two front facing 50mph speed traps last year doing about 60-65. thought fuck it at the time as i just wanted to get home, it's only 6 points etc. these cameras use IR at night and are digital so no film and they are meant to be on full time.
they never came. there's also a camera which detects your number plate in our work carpark. it displays the number to let you know it's seen it, only it never works on my car. mint.
i did have a pig follow me out of north london in a astra 1.7tdi. he did really well to keep up until i got to the m1, then cya.

Slow down! You wouldn't want the granny in the car next to you to get a heart attack or something now, would you?

I am thankful for ticket attornys. You mail them a check and your ticket, and you're done. No points, no classes, no worries.

next thanksgiving i'll have gone 3 years without a ticket so my driving record will be clean as far as that goes. last spring i had a retard moment with my car and had to file an insurance claim so i still have like 2 and half years for that to drop off now. but that crash was so minor it only raised my monthly payments like $10 so i'm not sweating it.
