I agree on layer nesting though would be nice but I can't really see how much it would get used...

And the heal tool is great for blending landscapes, skies etc.

Told you what? You think you're hot shit because you got a shitty software product for free. I've been getting Corel CDs sent to me for five years.

Mmmmmm, Painter IX.

*Rubs Pixologic DVD, FreeDsMax 7 box, and Combustion 4 box which just got here. (Edit Combustion just got here. Other stuff was a while back.)

To be fair, Sparks is way more rewarding than the ASN. You should get in on it, buddy. (Cries at the $$$ lost buying 3DsMax R2 and R4.)

What's the point of getting sent lots of paint programs when you're a shitty artist?

The photoshop updates won't really do anything for me. Photoshop has got to the point where you can pretty much do anything you want with a bit of skill and imagination anyway.

But Live trace for Illustrator looks interesting. If it works only 50% accurately, it'll still save a LOT of time and effort in the future.

Its just a shame my uni is always a year behind with updates...

I'm itching to try it out to tell the truth. I flipped out when Corel gave me CorelSuite 9 and CorelDraw had some (I can't remember) raster to vector application bundled in with it. It worked surprisingly well.

This looks to be way better, though. If it's accurate with lineart, it'll help a lot.

Then he must be a clueless retard just trying to flame, because I've never posted any 2D art of mine here. Just normal mapped 3D models, and some level design previews.

Hmmm... I might have posted a DOOM drawing I made a decade ago. I can't remember.

*Installs Quake.

My uncle has a saying:
