MS sued 117 site operators who were phishing for people's information.

Heh. Zero replies. I blame the fucking pope...

I just read that MS plans to fight phishing with IE 7. Not sure how they are going to do that though...

i lost all interest in IE 7 when i heard speculation that they are still not going to fully embrace CSS2 standards.

I've switched to Firefox. Excellent, but they can do better.

yes, i have also made the switch. but unfortunately the majority of people browsing the web have not. thus i still have to write code that either works for both or is browser-specific through the use of a browser detection script. i wish all the browsers would just display every page the same. :icon23:

Seems like only a rumor, but it would suck if it's true.

thus i said "speculation" rather than stating it as a fact. this could very well change (hopefully for the better), but i wouldn't count on it.

i get the feeling that Microsoft wants to control their own set of web standards.
