4GB RAM
8800GTX

I dunno why its low in that screen, but it averages around 90-100fps @ 1920x1200

This game gets better every time I play.   <3
Even when I lose, I still have fun. Surely a sign of a good game.

Awesome value for money, I just cant see how playing Portal on a pad is going to work, that game needs fast reflexes...

It's possible gameplay has been tweaked for consoles?

Nice shot shaft, how are those stats looking?

Tweaked, yes, of course. But how do you auto aim something that requires you to place it anywhere?

Remember, some of the portals require you to place, go through and replace multiple portals in different spots withen a second or so...

With a mouse, yeah. With a Pad? Well, its gonna be interesting...

By the way, the best Team Fortress was the quake 1 quakeworld team fortress.

Its on PS3 too dude... But delayed... And its being handled by EA, not Valve direct like the PC/360 versions...

So yeah, the point you made still stands :olo:

Nope. £40 to £50 max, because its still just a game.

Hell, have you seen Halo 3? The actual game is £40, not bad at all.

And another patch.

Changes/Additions

* Spectators can now see all player classes in the scoreboard
* The affinity of the main thread is not set explicitly for dedicated servers. This will properly load balance multiple instances of the dedicated server running on a multi-processor machine. The affinity is still set to CPU 1 for clients and listen servers

Bug fixes

* Fixed a crash with ATI cards running on Vista
* Fixed a networking problem that could cause a crash certain types of home networking hardware with out of date firmware installed
* Fixed a networking problem that could cause some animation jittering
* Fixed bug causing incorrect .dem files to be written (all files after first .dem file would be corrupted)
* Fixed bug with placement of teleporters that could result in players being unable to move
* Removed mp_friendlyfire cvar for servers. Team Fortress 2 breaks in a number of ways if this is on
* Fixed some truncated strings in the destroy menu
* When a round finishes, if there's less than 5 minutes left on the timelimit, the server now goes ahead and switches level right away, instead of going into Sudden Death
* Fixed crash on startup
* Fixed crash caused by .dlls being loaded from the user's path, instead of from the install directory

Intel Core Duo @ 2400
128 Mb ATI Mobility X1300
1 Gb DDRAM

Half-life 2 and Episode 1 ran fine on my laptop; even though Ep 2 apparently supports dual-core now, will it and Portal run like crap on my laptop?

Anyone have similar specs to mine?
what lies beyond...
