After several months of waiting it's finally here; the results of the remix contest! Multiple judges seeking to find the best of the best listened to nearly 200 remixes and in the end only 21 came out on top. Taking home the 1st place Hot Topic prize package is Dirty Scarab for his version of My Violent Heart (Prevention; Rejection). The 2nd place runner-up Faction package goes to the version of Vessel (Losing Control Remix) by Pushing Reality. Um, if any of you could do me a huge favor and download this then upload it to some webspace and PM me a link, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm at school and they block every single port known to man, so torrents are outta the question.

No he didn't. He removed the zip. Now you have to do each file individually. Click the "Stream all tracks in the MP3 player" link.

Mininova seems to also have problems. You can try this torrent tracker instead:

I've only listened to a few so far, but I like what I've heard.

I think it's awesome that NIN did this. I hope other artists follow Trent's lead. This is how music distribution should be done.

The Mininova link seems to work fine for me. In-fact, I got my highest ever torrent download speed using it; 625 kB/s! (I'm on 8Mb)

They're all good mixes so far but I haven't heard anything that tops the original songs. Year Zero is by far my favorite NIN album so it would take one hell of a remix to make me forget the original.

You mean you're glad to see Trent follow other artists lead, the most recent of those being Celldweller?

even if trent wasn't the first you still need big names like him pushing the idea otherwise it will never go anywhere. besides, wasn't trent one of the first to put up full tracks for remix with the With Teeth album?
